»ÆÉ«app Takes Stand Against Humanitarian Violations, Calls for Urgent Action in Gaza

In response to the ongoing conflict in Gaza, the »ÆÉ«app (»ÆÉ«app) reiterates its call for medical neutrality and strongly condemns any violations of international humanitarian laws and demands the safety of all civilians, especially children, as well as healthcare personnel and facilities.

The »ÆÉ«app also reiterates our previous call for the immediate release and safe passage of the hostages in response to reports of the grave threat to life that they face.

“»ÆÉ«app is concerned for the humanitarian and public health situation in Gaza. Safe access to healthcare services should be re-established and provided for all in need. This includes implementing public health measures and comprehensive disease surveillance and response. Physicians and other healthcare professionals must be provided with a safe working environment and should not be placed in the middle of military operations,” stated Dr. Lujain Alqodmani, President of the »ÆÉ«app.

The »ÆÉ«app calls for a humanitarian pause in order to allow for the safe delivery of humanitarian and medical aid and the release and safe passage of hostages.  The »ÆÉ«app calls upon aid agencies to ensure that the humanitarian aid reaches those in need and is not used for military purposes or monetary gain.

The »ÆÉ«app calls for urgent action to address the humanitarian crisis and ensure the safety and well-being of all civilians and healthcare workers in the region.
